Texas Hold'em Poker Tournaments - Held twice monthly at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, each tournament usually has 50+ personnel playing. Sponsoring companies may provide staff volunteers to support this event.

Celebrity Handshake Tours - USO arranges visits by more than 100 entertainers and athletes annually, to visit with and spread some cheer to returning warriors recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center.

Concerts - USO produces approximately four concerts each year at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Approximately 150-200 patients and family members attend, and a meal is provided. Artists have included Jimmy Buffett, Darryl Worley and The Beach Boys.
