While Bob Hope is perhaps the first celebrity who comes to mind, the "Spirit of Hope" inspires many of today's brightest stars to participate in handshake tours, concerts and autograph sessions for military members and their families in the D.C. area.

Throughout the year, warriors on the wards at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and at the National Naval Medical Center at Bethesda, as well as at bases and installations in Maryland, Virginia and D.C. are greeted by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Our celebrity volunteers are extremely generous, giving time and talent to brighten the day of our fighting men and women.
