Senior Enlisted Advisory Council (SEAC)
The Senior Enlisted Advisory Council (SEAC) was formed in 1984 to provide a vital, working communications link between USO of Metropolitan Washington, a civilian, volunteer social services agency – and the vast military community of more than 500,000 active duty service members and their families stationed at military installations throughout the greater Washington Metropolitan area.
Because the Senior Enlisted Advisors know the needs of their troops, they are in a unique position to advise and counsel USO-Metro Board and staff on matters relating to planning and implementing our human service programs for enlisted military and their families.

Who are Members of the SEAC?
The SEAC is a volunteer group of over 30 senior enlisted service representatives from each of the five branches of the Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy). SEAC members are selected by their respective branch of service and installation, or nominated by a SEAC member, to serve on the Council.
Whom does the SEAC Benefit?
The SEAC assists in the growth and development of USO Metro programs that are specifically designed to meet the special needs of service members and/or their families with an emphasis on the junior enlisted. Examples of such programs include (but are not limited to):
