The USO of Metropolitan Washington has seen tremendous success in 2009.
The USO of Metropolitan Washington continued to reach new heights in 2009. We've increased our individual instances of service by more than 50 percent and we've developed several new and exciting programs. We've improved USO-Metro's organizational brand and have broadened our reach to serve more military installations around the region, increasing our visibility in both the communities we serve and the media. Each and every day, our enthusiastic staff and dedicated volunteers help us achieve our mission of lifting the spirits of America's troops and their families by providing first-class programs and services to the more than 500,000 active duty military in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area.
