Mother’s Day USO-Metro's Mother’s Day event is open to all active duty service members and their immediate family members. The USO of Metropolitan Washington began a tradition of honoring the mothers of Armed Forces families in the metropolitan area with the annual “Mother’s Day Celebration” over twenty years ago. Each year, the celebration includes gourmet cakes and baked goods from the White House, many foreign embassies and the Foreign Joint Services NCO Association. May 9, 2010 Andrew’s AFB - 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the SportsPage Community Center. Join the USO of Metropolitan Washington in celebrating military mothers! Come and enjoy gourmet baked goods from the Washington D.C. embassies and the White House. Events include children's games, crafts, face painting and a magician! Mom's enjoy free manicures, neck massages, gift bags and raffles.
