| July 26, 2010 - 18th Annual USO-Metro/AFCEA-DC Golf Classic Fundraiser Thank you to our sponsors, guests and volunteers for making the 17th Annual USO-Metro/AFCEA-DC Golf Classic the best year yet! Through the outstanding support of Washington, DC area corporate and military leaders, the 2009 Golf Classic was a huge success. The tournament will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at The Golf Club at Lansdowne near Leesburg, Virginia. The day begins with breakfast and practice at 7:00 a.m., and a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. After golf, the tournament includes a reception and raffle drawings. Proceeds from the USO-Metro/AFCEA-DC Golf Classic benefit The USO of Metropolitan Washington and the AFCEA-DC Scholarship Fund.
Sponsors ensure that costs associated with the tournament are not borne by USO-Metro, but rather by those who support its invaluable work. We are taking commitments now for the 2010 tournament; if you are interested in participating again next year you can reserve your spot.
