VMware Public Sector VP Named as Member of USO-Metro Board of Directors
Aileen Black will serve on prestigious Board for USO of Metropolitan Washington
PALO ALTO, Calif., March 20, 2013 - VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, is proud to announce that Aileen Black, Vice President, Public Sector has been appointed to the Board of Directors for USO of Metropolitan Washington (USO-Metro).
USO-Metro is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization chartered by Congress, and dedicated to "Serving those who serve, and their families" in Washington D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. With the help of nearly 5,000 devoted volunteers, USO-Metro provides programs and services for active duty troops and their families at area military hospitals; through its Mobile USO program; at five USO Centers, and four USO airport lounges.
